A free fishing-specific weather app for Android and iPhone users has just been released. FishMarX is a GPS marking tool you can use  on the water to save important features. It means you can return to the exact place, or check the weather before heading back. It displays a map with your precise position and weather conditions, and you can save boat launches, buoys, channels, creek mouths, dropoffs, gravel, flats, mangrove holes, parking areas, riptides, river/stream outlets, timber, trailheads, weedbeds and so on. The weather aspect combines wind mapping, solunar times, tides, moon and hourly barometric changes. It’s been created by Bassmaster Magazine and Bassmaster.com, which joined forces with www.scoutlookweather.com, the weather service owned and operated by fishermen and hunters.  Users can “see the wind” for up to 72 hours at any location.
