A range of rare and early Hardy brass Perfect reels are the highlight of an online auction of more than 350 lots ending on January 11 at Mullock Jones They include a range of sizes from 21in to 41in.

Other special items include a pair of carved salmon by the Fochabers studio and carrying a 
C Farlow & Co stamp, while other notable lots include a selection of early brass winches and some good Allcock Aerials, including a rare Aerial Match, only made for a couple of years in the late 1930s.

And if you’re looking for something to impress your friends, there’s a very scarce sporting knife made by the royal family’s jeweller, Asprey of Bond Street, though this knife is more for a shooter than a fisher.
